Real talk, Programmatic Languages is 35% of this exam. Biggest chunk by far. I underestimated it. Went in knowing basic AMPscript syntax, thought that was enough. Exam threw real scenarios at me instead, subscriber exclusion logic at send time, SSJS functions, code that had to actually make sense in context, not just fill-in-the-blank syntax recall. Failed, and this section is exactly where I lost the most marks.
Second time around I drilled scenario-based AMPscript and SSJS questions specifically, not just syntax lists. Used ITExamsTopics for topic-wise practice since it's broken down by exam domain, made it easier to see Programmatic Languages was the weak spot I needed to hammer.
If you're prepping, don't treat AMPscript as "just memorize the functions." Practice it in scenario form, that's how the exam actually tests it.
