Is PCEP Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer Exam useful for experienced developers

Not really. PCEP is made for beginners, so someone already working as a developer won't gain much from it. The exam sticks to basic syntax, data types, loops, and simple problem-solving, stuff most working developers already know well. It's kind of like taking a driving test again after years of driving; it proves you know the basics, but nobody really needs that proof at that point.

That said, it can still make sense in a few cases, like switching into a more formal tech role and needing to show basic knowledge on paper, or if a company specifically asks for an entry-level credential as part of hiring. Outside of that, PCEP mainly works as a starting point for junior Python roles, not something built for experienced developers.
