The study modules created in the portal iidsp.net for both Bachelor and Master of mechanical engineering students in technological Universities and Colleges and engineers in various companies to acquire the knowledge which is at the boundary of neighbor domains - mechanical engineering, management, economical and so on, where the company employees need the newest information, data and methods.

Created study modules on the cross discipline conception and integrated methodology of design and development of new products and processes are based. The innovative and creativity aspects in developed study modules in particular 3D printing of parts and components and computer numerical (CNC) machines application in industrial companies when the variety of products is increasing and production volume is decreasing are focused.

The users of mentioned study modules are both the students and lecturers of technological universities and colleges and the managers, designers, technologists and other employees of various industrial companies and organizations.

The some Internet citations in the text of study modules can be not active; in this case the individual decision of a student is to look similar information in the Internet applying topic key words, if it is actual and interesting.

This course provides a structured survey of the most important aspects of a modern manufacturing system, and develops a systems model for an important type of manufacturing organization. Reading through this document will be like taking a 'guided tour' through a manufacturing system. We will follow the route that a product takes as it goes through the system, from customer inquiry to final delivery.
