The LABSIMEDU training programme aims to strengthen higher education teachers’ competencies in modeling and simulation for inclusive engineering education. It supports the integration of simulation technologies into teaching, connecting theoretical concepts with practical engineering applications.
The programme comprises five online courses: Discrete Event Simulation, Physics-Based Simulation, Computational Intelligence, AI-Driven Simulation, and Process Modeling and Digital Twins in Engineering. Each course has a planned workload of 40 hours and includes learning materials, practical examples, individual assignments, and assessment activities.
The programme is developed within the Erasmus+ project LABSIMEDU — Simulation Technologies and Practices Lab for Inclusive Engineering Education — as Project Result 1 (PR1).
