Project Manager is the person who is responsible for project success. Project Management course provides students with the basic principles of project management. The main aim of course is to acquire the basic project management knowledge, introduce the essential principles of project activities and develop advanced skills in managing life cycle of the project, starting from the beginning and going to the end. Five project management processes (initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing) and ten knowledge areas (integration, scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, procurement, and stakeholder management) are the focus of this course. Students will develop practical teamwork skills. Project Management course is based on teamwork, case analysis and discussions.

Course provides with the basic information about Management. All of us are a part of some organisations, we are present or future employees of a company. Therefore it is important to understand the main principles how organisation operates and its activities. The main aim of this course is to acquire knowledge of management science development, its concept, object, key management functions, and principles of the main fields of organisation's work as an object of management. We will go through management prehistory, its theories and the main representatives, such as Taylor, Ford, Fayol, McGregor or Maslow and their input to management of organisations. We will speak about who are managers and what they should do. We will learn the main managerial functions: planning, organising, leading and controlling and will find out how to operate them in organisations and in daily life. Another important point is relations among employers and employees. We will study how to lead, motivate, solve conflicts and cooperate seeking personal satisfaction and benefits for organisation.
Group works, Discussions, Practical exercises, Simulation of real-life situations and Case analysis are used for studies to reach the aim.

This course introduces a small European country, called Lithuania. It gives general facts, brief information about Lithuanian language, tourism, cities, sights and leisure. Moreover, it presents Lithuanian history very shortly, arts, famous activities, and landscape and their influence on Lithuanian business. The course speaks about doing business in Lithuania also. Finally interesting facts about Lithuania are given in this course too.
